Produced from a skilful blend and constructed differently each year according to the profile of the vintage, Orchis reveals a fresh, fruity and fine nose. It exhales notes of red fruits and sweet spices. The palate is very well shaped, fresh and invigorating. This blend of Merlot, Syrah and Cornalin offers a very tasty character and a slender finish. Viticulture

The Orchis is a beautiful flower. Its fragrance evokes vanilla. Jacques Perrin and Maurice Zufferey have chosen this mountain orchid as the emblem of this new wine. The wine was created, note by note, with a view to creating a wine that stands out for its style and its clarity.

Oenology

Each of the grape varieties that make up this wine plays its own part: Cornalin and Syrah bring black fruits, oriental spices and structure; red humagne, its wild character; and finally Merlot completes the whole with its caressing texture and mentholated notes. The wine was aged for 6 months in oak barrels. 1800 bts produced in the 2009 vintage.
