A little-known grape variety, but which is experiencing a kind of comeback thanks to the care lavished on it by a young generation of idealistic winegrowers, Grolleau is to the Loire Valley what Gamay can be to Beaujolais! Here, floral notes (violet) and black fruit burst from the glass and, above all, the wine is very tasty, with a spicy touch that calls for grills.
