Beware, this is one of the secret jewels of Burgundy! With its ancient massal selection, it has a very beautiful, complex, spicy nose, which evolves on long pepper and violets. On the palate, the wine is both ample and energetic, stretched by a magnificent "ripe" acidity which gives it a lot of life and intensity. More than a wine of power, it is a balanced and long-lasting wine, tasty and which has all the arguments to go up in speed over the next twenty years at least. Guide Vert RVF : 93/100

Viticulture

A 1.4 hectare vineyard located to the north of the village, on the Brochon side. The parcel is adjacent to the estate (vat room and house). The estate is the only one to claim this cru. 2/3 of the vineyard was planted in 1922, the rest in 1945. The grapes are often millerandage, due to this canonical age and the selection process. Although attempts at isolation have been made, the blend is always superior.

Suggestions for accompaniment

Saddle of rabbit - Octopus with morels - Veal pie with asparagus and morels - Breast of duck with cherries.
