Bourgogne, Pinot Noir, Pierre Damoy - 2017

This is quite simply one of the best "Burgundies" there is. But what does it have more than others? First of all, its depth of colour, perfume and mouthfeel. One can guess here the old vines, the low yields, the great maturity of the grapes without tipping over into heaviness or softness. The black fruit and liquorice aromas are archetypal of the northern Côte de Nuits. The structure is vinous, saline, dense and energetic. The length in the mouth is very serious. It would rival many wines of the Village appellation, from the "star" neighbouring communes. Guide Vert RVF : 91/100
