If you are not familiar with Fixin wines, this one will remind you furiously of very good Gevrey de coteau wines such as Evocelles, with its aromas of smoke, dried violet, blackberry and black cherry. It is above all a muscular wine, broad and opulent, but not without tannic suppleness, with a jubilant silkiness of texture.
