With the Païen Coeur de Clos, it is without doubt the greatest white wine of the domain. And above all an absolute model for its appellation and the region. Made from very old vines, it has a spectacular nose of white truffle, pear and almond. On the palate, it is fine, fleshy, unctuous, and offers a phenomenal length.

Viticulture

The Clos des Corbassières is a historic estate located at the gates of Sion and is made up of 52 sun-drenched terraces clinging to the vertiginous slope of the Mont d'Orge hill. The terroir is composed of schist and limestone. The oldest vines of the old estate (La Corbassière-Imhof) form the heart of the Clos.

Oenology

The Clos des Corbassières wines are matured on the lees in 500 litre tuns for 17 months.

Suggestions for accompaniment

Truffled poultry, cassolette of truffled morels and green asparagus, boletus pie, poached poularde, raw milk mountain cheeses.
