This grand cru is made from the first selection of Syrah imported into the Valais at the beginning of the century. On the nose, it develops aromas of black cherries, mentholated notes, liquorice, black pepper, slightly smoky and toasted. The palate is racy, powerful, the tannins tight with a beautiful aromatic persistence. A wine with great ageing potential, ideally opened 1 to 2 hours before serving.
