On adore son nez mentholé, poivré, évoluant sur l'encens et le poivron grillé, à la manière des grands Bourgogne en vendange entière (DRC, Leroy, Dujac, etc). Il envoûte par une bouche fraîche, subtile, tendue et réservée, avec un tanin d'une noblesse difficile à surpasser, sans végétal, très prometteur. C'est un vrai grand vin pour le millésime et promis à un avenir radieux. Limité à 3 bouteilles par membre.

Parcelle de 5000 m2, plantée à 10'000 pieds/ha et condtuie en Guyot basse et cordon de Royat. Vignes plantées en 1964 et 1984. Rendement faible (20 à 25 hl/ha pour le 2003).

Oenology

Fermentation en petit contenant avec macération en grappes entières. Elevage en fûts de chêne neuf français pendant 22 mois.

Jean-Pierre Pellegrin is one of the stars of the Geneva vineyard, even if the man is much more discreet and humble than the glittering image that sticks to his neck.In 1989, he received the estate from his father and took his destiny as a winegrower in hand.
