Rosanna Antoniolo and her children Alberto and Lorella run probably the largest estate (in terms of quality) in the Upper Piedmont, a region once as famous as Barolo and Barbaresco. And for good reason, the best terroirs are just as great. "Osso San Grato" is perhaps the most beautiful wine of the appellation: volcanic soil, southern exposure, everything is perfect to produce great wine.
Oenology
Maceration of the skins for 15 days. The wine is aged in tuns for 36 months, in a very traditional way, in order to work slowly and gently on the tannins and to deliver a maximum of finesse, without stripping the materials.
Suggestions for accompaniment
Braised venison leg - Spit-roasted woodcock - Duck with orange sauce.
