This wine was born from Eric Janin's curiosity in 2008. He had pulled up a 63-acre parcel of Gamay located in Romanèche-Thorins, in a place called Les Jumeaux. For him, it was of no interest for the grape variety on this type of soil. He left it to rest for four years and then decided to plant Chardonnay there, for the pleasure of discovery. And it was a good intuition because the result is sparkling with perfume (citrus fruits, white flowers), sapid and juicy, without woodiness! Guide Vert RVF : 89/100

Technique

Viticulture

The vines are cultivated using sustainable methods and the soil is fully worked. Location: Les Jumeaux. Surface area: 0.63 ha. Age of the vines: less than 10 years. Yield 40 hl/ha. Clay-silt-sand soils.

Oenology

Harvesting, hand-picking and sorting of grapes. Vinification in barrels for 7 to 10 years. Aged for 8 months on fine lees. Malolactic fermentation is not carried out on certain vintages.
