Viticulture
The terroirs of Clos Puy Arnaud, 80% of which are sandy-clay plateaux of very low thickness on asteriated limestone, and 20% of which are slopes and foot of the limestone slopes, are situated at an altitude of between 75 and 100 metres, thus benefiting from a remarkable location in terms of both ventilation and light. The vineyard is run under organic (AB label) and biodynamic (Biodyvin and Demeter labels) agriculture. Planting density of 5,000 to 6,600 vines/ha.
Oenology
Whole berries are vatted by gravity, pre-fermentation cold maceration under inert gas, fermentation with indigenous yeasts, all in stainless steel tanks. Aged for 3 months in stainless steel tanks.
