Viticulture
Le Clos, located on the Crêtes de Vaas in the commune of Lens, has a vineyard surface of 3 ha in one piece. Le Clos is located in the first zone at an average altitude of 660 m. The parches enjoy an optimal south/south-west exposure, thus capturing maximum sunlight. They are mainly made up of more or less complex calcareous scree, acid, schist, with a sandy-silt texture.
Oenology
Wine yields of 400 to 600 g/m2, harvest not crushed, partially de-stemmed, cold maceration (freezing point) followed by 20 to 28 days in stainless steel vats. Decanting, pressing and development of the F.M.L. in new barrels. Racking and ageing for 21 months in barrels.
