These are new plantations, at the beginning of the 2000s, on new land with good south-western exposure but difficult to work because of the steep slope. The name "Combottes" is a diminutive of combe, which alludes to the hilly character of this parcel. Located on the climate "Les plantes des champs et combottes", the hillside is an extension of the village, the soil is white, marly and fairly light. The rows are short with ditches to contain erosion.
