Founders of the estate in 1980, Gianbattista Cilia and Giusto Occhipinti are the forerunners of biodynamic viticulture in the vineyards of Baroque Sicily. They are also, and without doubt, the southern Italian winemakers who have long mastered the art of vinification in terracotta jars. They were also the first to bottle a pure variety of the aromatic frappato, with its sweet scent of rose, violet and lychee. Its finesse and freshness transcend us!

Soil type: medium consistency, sub-Apennine sands of Pliocene origin and calcareous nature. Training system: Guyot, espalier. Planting density: 5,000 plants per hectare. Average age of the vines: 12 years.
