Dézaley Grand Cru, La Gruyre, Hegg & fils - 2020

  • Provenance: Vaud
  • Appellation: Dézaley
  • Domain: Hegg & fils
  • Grape variety(ies): Chasselas
  • On-call time: 10 years
  • Style of wine: Vin fruité et gouleyant
  • 213 Classement: Grand Cru
Frédéric Hegg's aptly named Gruyre is a bit of an archetype of the beautiful Dézaley: a seductive nose of almond, aniseed and exotic fruit, preceding a round and suave palate, generous but without weight. But in no way does the wine tip over into heaviness, thanks to its finesse and fresh length. A pleasure that even the Cistercians would not have denied!
