Viticulture
14.25 ha in one piece on the Sauternes terrace. Soil: Gravel on clay on the upper part, clay-sand-gravel on the hillside. Planting density: 6500-7500 vines/ha. Average age of the vines: 40 years. Pruning: Sauternaise 3 cots with 2 eyes. Traditionally cultivated vines, some of which are planted with grass. Disbudding and thinning out in summer.
Oenology
100% manual harvesting by successive selections with sorting of the grapes on the vine. 17hl/ha on average over 10 years. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks with a regulation system to start. Then, immediately in barrels. Selection and blending of batches in March following the harvest. Aged for 18 to 24 months in new barrels. Bottled at the château.
