Informations: Syrah. Le cépage arrive pour la première fois en 1921 en Valais, mais il est planté de manière plus importante à partir de 1937. Il existe de grandes similitudes entre les Syrah des côtes-du-rhône françaises et les climats et terroirs valaisans. C’est dans sa limite septentrionale qu’elle donne les plus grands vins et la vallée du rhône valaisanne répond parfaitement à ces critères.

This is the biggest and rarest red of the estate and one of the best Syrahs of the Valais! There is a real depth to this wine. Superb aromatic expression, sanguine-spicy, with the floral touch of the raffle and the terroir. The wine is full, structured, juicy and long. Very nice bottle, great wine!

Les Tatzes is a plot of land located in the heart of the Follatères nature reserve in Fully. The soil is steep and lies on a gneiss bedrock with a southern exposure.

Long vatting in whole bunches and 18 months maturing in barrels with 50% new wood.
